AiKon
AiKon is a convention of Love: It’s meant as a meeting place for Cosplayers & Otakus, Fans of Shounen-Ai, Shoujo-Ai, Boys Love , Girls Love, Yaoi, Yuri, Bishounen and Cuteboys! We want to create a convention where you can meet likeminded people who share your passion. Live your love and make new friends along the way. :3
The inspiration for this event came from YaYuCo, a convention which has been running for more than 15 years in Dachau! We absolutely recommend to check them out as well. :3
Familiarity
Familiarity is our main focus at this event. We want to create a safe space for this awesome niche in our community, hence we are keen to keep it small. The amount of available tickets is therefore limited. Even though we are a german event, all information and program will be provided in english to be internationally inclusive.
Age restriction
AiKon is an 18+ convention, which means only people who are at least 18 years old can join the event. We want to give the ‘older’ cosplayers and otakus among the community a platform. We also intend to ensure the maximum amount of freedom in our program and for the artists at our event.
Location
AiKon will be held at BaseCamp in Bonn, Germany! It's close to Cologne and easily reachable by train or car. The next train station "Bonn UN Campus" is just a 6 minute walk away!
Sleepover
You want to stay overnight? In our J-Camp we offer accommodations for guests and exhibitors to affordable prices directly on the event grounds. That way we are turning your convention experience into something special! 50 individual und special campers are waiting for you!
Staying long is highly recommended, as it's the most fun time at the convention! 🙂
